<p>I am trying to simulate a X-Ray powder pattern with texture effect using the spherical harmonics.</p>

<p>I am using Phases -> Data -> Preferred orientation model = "Spherical Harmonics, Harmonic order = 4, C(4,1) = 1.0.</p>

<p>However I do not see any difference between with/without the use of preferred orientation.</p>

<p>What am I doing wrong?</p>

<p>Is there any example/documentation where I can look at?</p>
