Problem: The APS has been troubleshooting an issue with injection septum S:IS1 operation.<br>

Activity: The replacement septum is in place and initial attempts to store beam have been successful.<br>

Estimated time of shutter enable:  We anticipate a return to user operations at 8 AM tomorrow, Friday, October 11th with gaps open.   There is still some uncertainty in meeting this target; please continue to check the APS website periodically for updates.<br>
