[GSAS-II] Bug Report GSAS_II

Hi,
My name is Dilini Wijepala, and I am a fourth-year graduate student who uses GSAS-II. I would like to report a bug that I encountered while using the software.
I encountered a problem while trying to refine the position (pos), intensity (int), and sigma (sig) of peaks added under the Background tab. The data used in this refinement were NOMAD neutron total scattering data. After adding reasonable initial guesses for the position, intensity, and sigma, the peaks in the background showed reasonable shapes. However, these parameters could not be refined. Each time I performed a refinement, the parameters were dropped.
I have attached a Word document containing the relevant information and details of the refinement.
Please note that this refinement was performed using the updated version of GSAS-II (5839). I also tested the same refinement using an older version (5660), and everything worked as expected. However, after updating that older version to 5799, the refinement stopped working.
I would greatly appreciate your assistance in investigating this issue.
