[Xrayops] Change in SR RF phase yesterday afternoon

A change in the RF source yesterday afternoon around 16:15 resulted in a
SR RF phase phase shift of about 23 deg. Operations adjusted the SR RF
phase to recover top-up injection efficiency. . From that time to
approximately 04:00 this morning the phase may have been slightly less
stable than it normally is. The RF source appears to be stable after
04:00 so the phase should be stable, but one of the RF source parameters
did not return to its nominal value. We do not see any effects on the
electron beam--no increased motion and no apparent instabilities. The RF
Group are set up to troubleshoot the problem, but there is nothing that
can be done during User operations since it might affect the beam or
possibly cause a beam loss. We will keep you informed if there are any
changes. Please feel free to e-mail me at schroedr at anl.gov if you have
any questions.

Thanks,
Karen Schroeder
Storage-Ring Chief of Operations
