[GSAS-II] GSAS2-II install on OS X 10.9

Hi,

I am trying to install GSAS-II on Mac OS X 10.9.1 (Mavericks). I am using the latest Enthought Canopy distribution of Python. The installation proceeds smoothly, but attempting to launch the GSAS-II app fails with this error:

> Could not find platform dependent libraries <exec_prefix>
> Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>]
> ImportError: No module named site

I’ve googled around a bit and found various suggestions on modifying the various Python environment variables, but it all seems rather ad hoc and nothing that I’ve tried has worked.

If anyone has gotten GSAS2 to work on Mavericks, I’d appreciate hearing about it.
