Dear GSAS-II Users,
I am encountering an issue while determining the instrument
parameters U, V, W, X, and Y for an instrument parameter file.
According to the tutorial "Create Instrument Parameter File:
Determine Starting Profile from a Standard", it should be
possible to refine U, V, W, X, and Y while simultaneously
refining the sigma and gamma parameters of individual
peaks whose widths are inconsistent with the rest.
However, when I enable refinement of sigma and gamma
for certain peaks, the refinement flags for U, V, and W are
automatically cleared, and only X and Y remain active.
If I disable only the sigma refinement flag, then all instrument
parameters can be refined.
How can I refine the instrument parameters while still allowing
refinement of sigma and gamma for selected peaks? Is there
something I may be misunderstanding or doing incorrectly?
Thank you very much for your help.
Best,
Andreas
