[GSAS-II] Preferred orientation - Spherical Harmonics

Hi All,


I am trying to simulate a X-Ray powder pattern with texture effect using the spherical harmonics.

I am using Phases -> Data -> Preferred orientation model = "Spherical Harmonics, Harmonic order = 4, C(4,1) = 1.0.

However I do not see any difference between with/without the use of preferred orientation.


What am I doing wrong?

Is there any example/documentation where I can look at?
