[Xrayops] S:IS1 downtime update

[APS Experiment Hall X-ray Operations Problem List]

Problem: The APS has been troubleshooting an issue with injection septum S:IS1 operation.



Activity: The replacement septum is in place and initial attempts to store beam have been successful.



Estimated time of shutter enable:  We anticipate a return to user operations at 8 AM tomorrow, Friday, October 11th with gaps open.   There is still some uncertainty in meeting this target; please continue to check the APS website periodically for updates.



Next planned update: Thursday October 10th at 10 pm, or as information becomes available.
